Biography is a reference archive of biographical information — dates, careers, awards, family and financial estimates for public figures. It is published for general information and is not advice of any kind.

Entries are compiled from public sources and structured into fields, and we correct what we find to be wrong. Even so, biographical data changes and sources disagree, so no page here is warranted to be complete or current.

Financial figures deserve their own warning: net worth is an outside estimate produced by third parties, not an audited number, and should be read as an order of magnitude rather than a fact. How each kind of fact is sourced is set out on the sources page.

You may read, link to and quote this site with attribution. You may not republish pages wholesale, or scrape the archive to rebuild it elsewhere.

Individual facts — a birth date, a filmography — are not ours to own. The writing, the structure and the presentation are.
